Just opposite the CLR James library lies a hidden gem, The Dalston Eastern Curve Garden.
A reclaimed space the garden is on the formerly abandoned Eastern Curve railway line. As part of the Making space in Dalston residents have turned the area into a delightful garden with kids spaces, wild areas, bird boxes and all sorts of growing and making spaces.
The gardens opened in July 2010 and are constantly developing and growing – the next item to appear is a clay oven for making pizza, yum!

Homemade scarecrows guard the beds
A delightful, beautiful place
The raised beds growing food to eat
A space that's always working or wild
