As I sauntered my way through South London imagine my surprise as this contraption hoved into view, funky music blaring and the occupants seeming to have an obscenely good time.
It’s a cycle powered bus. Or pedibus. Who knew this sort of thing existed?

Yes I know about them. They were on a tour of Southwark one Friday evening and offered me a lift. It is obscene.
I always seem to see them on Stamford St for some reason. Seems to be either ‘team-building’ groups from work, or perhaps really tragic stag dos. I saw one in the pi**ing rain once which was hilarious..!
The people using it seemed incredibly happy – so you’re right it probably was team building or something. Quite a strange spectacle.
