There seems to be something happening in the derelict buildings that have been allowed to rot opposite Kings Cross. They have been left for so many years some of the shop fronts don’t just have the last London telephone code on them that came in, what, ten years ago – they actually have the code before that.

It’s insane that such prime real estate hs been left in the hands of developers for so long rather than being put to good use for the community. It’s a particular shame as one of the now defunct shops was “Mole Jazz” which has a very fetching picture of a mole playing the sax. Shutting Mole Jazz down alone should be a criminal offense really… let’s see if this new scaffolding heralds actual building work.

Kings Cross

The scaffolding has gone up opposite Kings Cross - but will there be real movement?
