The family of a cyclist killed in June are putting out a fresh appeal for witnesses. Peter McGreal was killed in a collision with  a lorry on Bethnal Green Road (Hackney Road and Pritchard’s Road junction) at 8.30 am June 21st this year.

Peter McGreal, who was a UNISON shop steward, was one of 16 cyclists killed on London’s roads this year so far.

The fresh appeal is part of a civil action although a suspect has been arrested and will appear in court over the hit an run next month.
