Today’s climate demo took on the practice of fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, which extracts underground gas through blasting water at high pressure through rock. The BBC has a good report on today’s actions here.

some really great pictures here! as water levels run low and there are constant reports of droughts, it seems a crazy plan to waste water in order to release an unsustainable source of energy
