Peter Berthoud is running what sound like a fascinating set of walks on Christmas Day in what sounds like an extremely unusual and fun way to spend the day.

You can check out full details herebut in summary there are three starting times London at Dawn 6am, London After Breakfast 10.30am and London After Lunch 4pm. They “all include a blend of history, humour, curiosities, art and architecture. But our tours are not scripted, dull as ditch-water offerings that are just being reeled off for the umpteenth time. They are unique and spontaneous and will involve and respond to the interests of the group.”

As Peter puts in “I wanted to explore the eerily empty streets and luckily so did my children! The only day of the year when such an experience is possible is Christmas Day and if you want to guarantee exclusive temporary use of the bridge you need to do so before dawn.”
