The tweets will be a mixture of links to the best content of the site and the best of the London web and will be manfully steered by Big Smokers David Mentiply and Jim Jepps.
But hold on you’re saying to yourself. Why the hell haven’t they chosen @bigsmoke? This is willful perversity!
Well, it’s a sad tale involving someone who took up twitter in 2007, tweeted twice about the TV they were watching and then slunk off into obscurity when they realised they were even boring themselves. The upside is that they have squatted that domain ever since so we don’t have a popular rival, just dead air, to contend with.
So we’re @LondonSmoke for ever more, why not join us?
