Oh dear. Ex-Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboué has well and truly killed satire.

I was enjoying reading his tweets of solidarity with Patrice Evra, the Manchester United player who was racially abused by Liverpool’s Luis Suarez. He also expressed admiration for Rio Ferdinand for standing by his brother Anton, who was allegedly the victim of racial abuse from John Terry.

But then this bombshell came:

That’s right, ‘nohomo’. So glad he cleared that up. I was sincerely worried Emmanuel was articulating homosexual tendencies. Now that wouldn’t do, would it?
