As you’ll have already seen we at Big Smoke are building up a set of resources to help you decide how to vote at the beginning of May.

We’ve already created a one stop shop for info on the London Assembly constituency candidates which tries to provide at least one link to every candidate in the race so you can make up your own mind up about them.

Our guide to the election broadcasts is an ongoing project and we’ve already reviewed Labour, Conservative, Green and Liberal Democrat broadcasts and will get round to the others asap – as well as the spoofs.

This week we’ll also have our guide on how to vote in the elections. We’ll go beyond simply talking about the three ballot papers and what they mean, we’ll also put it in context with previous results, where the parties are and how you can use your vote most effectively if you can’t quite decide who comes closest to your politics.

We have a stack of manifestos ready to review and by golly we’re going to read them! Wish us luck.

Help us build these resources by contributing a piece to our ‘voices’ section, letting us know about links to individual constituency candidates or emailing an election link that you think our readers would be interested in – you’re probably right. You can do all this by emailing editorial@bigsmoke.org.uk we’re looking forwards to hearing from you.

  1. Hello. Merely needed to question an instant issue.

I am just setting up my weblog and would like to recognize wherever you still have your style?
Had been the item free of charge? Or even has been it paid?
I can’t appear to come across anything at all competitive with this place, so ideally you can ok,
i’ll recognize. Thank you. PS, my sorry. British is not my own primary vocabulary.
