You will head up our award-winning seven-strong Communications and Media Team, overseeing the shaping and delivery of tactics to help our campaigns set the news agenda and get people talking.

· Developing and managing relationships with celebrity supporters

· Managing media and public relations issues

· Briefing and training Friends of the Earth spokespeople

The Communications and Media Team works closely with many other teams in Friends of the Earth including Campaigns, Activism, Publications and New Media, Creative Communications and Fundraising.

You will also take part in the rota for our team’s 24-hour out-of-hours media service.
