Over the last few weeks we’ve had some really spiffing interviews over a great range of subjects. Whether that’s Americans in London voting in the Presidential election, feminism in the eighties, climate direct actionists, pro-choice activism, a Barnet film maker or our interviews with Mayoral candidates Lawrence Webb (UKIP) and Siobhan Benita (Independent) we’re trying to present a whole range of interesting people and topics for you.

Coming up we have video on air pollution in London (which is in the can) and out going Liberal Democrat Assembly member Mike Tuffrey (out going as he’s leaving the Assembly Member, although we’re sure he’s life and soul of the party) which we should be filming on Monday.

We’re rather enjoying them and, while we have some ideas of our own about who we’re trying to interview, and some we’re negotiating a time and place on, it seemed a good moment to ask the readers if they had any suggestions. Feel free to email us at editorial@bigsmoke.org.uk or leave a comment with your thoughts.

Where we can’t get a filmed interview we’re also up for emailed interviews, like the one with the Black Heath Society, on their 75th anniversary which I thought, personally, was really charming.

We can’tĀ guaranteeĀ that we’ll follow up your idea or that your suggestion would agree to an interview but, you never know, you may well get the chance to see your choice in the Big Smoke spotlight.
